Being on the first page of Google

Hi Guys, for those of you that have their site on the first page of good for their keywords did you see a big jump in organic traffic. Did you see a large jump in sales as well? Any comments would be great.

it depends what you list no1 for. If it's an obscure keyword with few searches then no. If it's a highly competitive one then yes, sales do increase !

I really think it depends on it. If you are on the first page for a popular keyword, you are going to see an increase in traffic. If your are on the front page for a long-tail keyword with little monthly searches, you probably won't see a big jump in traffic.
